Small grants for California Indian cultural transmission projects, decided by a rotating committee of California Indian culture bearers rather than foundation staff. Individuals, Tribal Nations, nonprofits, and community partnerships may apply.

Eligibility
Open to individuals, nonprofits, community partnerships, and Tribal Nations serving California Indigenous peoples. The project must be rooted in California Indian culture and community; capacity-building for large organizations and work without California tribal cultural roots is excluded, so a university would realistically need to be a partner to a community applicant.
