HRC Project Grants (2027 round)

Health Research Council of New Zealand

The Health Research Council of New Zealand's main investigator-initiated project funding, open across the full breadth of health research including behavioural, social, public health, kaupapa Maori, Maori health and Pacific health work. Two-stage process: a short expression of interest, then a full application with external peer review and an applicant rebuttal stage. Projects run two to five years, which suits longitudinal or intervention-evaluation designs a social work researcher would run.
