Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority
The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority is a state corporate authority that administers a dedicated trust for Alaskans experiencing mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injury and Alzheimer's disease. Partnership Grants fund capacity building, planning, outreach, workforce and service development against four priority areas: prevention and early intervention, crisis response, treatment and recovery, and ongoing support and wellbeing. The applicant must be an organisation serving beneficiaries, so a university would typically partner with or subcontract to an Alaskan provider or tribal entity.
