Mama Cash grantmaking (Solidarity Fund and Spark Fund)

Mama Cash

Flexible, long-term core support for self-led feminist groups — people who speak and act for themselves from lived experience of stigma, violence, exploitation and exclusion — including accompaniment beyond the grant.

This funder publishes a cycle rather than a date, and this database does not invent one.Mama Cash's own 2026 grantmaking update states the Solidarity Fund and Spark Fund will open for new applications in 2026, that the Resilience Fund will not open to new applicants (renewals for existing grantee-partners unaffected), and that timelines and how to apply will be posted ahead of each app

Eligibility
Groups must be self-led by the communities affected: women, girls, and trans and intersex people. Mama Cash states it will not fund individuals, political parties, government agencies or religious institutions, and will not fund anti-sex-work activity. Universities are not named as eligible; an academic partner would work with a grantee group rather than apply. The Solidarity Fund is aimed at women's funds that themselves make grants.
