FemFund Poland — MiniGrants, Multi-year and Intervention Grants

Fundusz Feministyczny (FemFund)

A Polish feminist fund built on participatory grantmaking in its strict sense: the fund states that the people who take part in a call decide who the money goes to. Three streams run — MiniGrants for informal groups, collectives and NGOs, multi-year grants for sustained work, and intervention grants for urgent needs. Money is deliberately routed to villages and small towns as well as cities, which makes it a route for locally-grounded participatory research and community documentation that a mainstream Polish research council would not reach.

Amount not published (varies by call)No grant amounts are published on the English homepage and no currency is confirmed there; the fund is Warsaw-based, so any figure would be in Polish zloty. Nothing is asserted here.
Timing
Periodic callsNo specific published date recorded. This funder publishes a cycle rather than a date, and this database does not invent one.The fund runs recurring calls for its MiniGrants stream plus a standing intervention route for urgent needs. No dated cycle or deadline is published on the English homepage.

Eligibility
Activities must be carried out by women, girls and non-binary, trans, queer and intersex people anywhere in Poland, with stated priority to people facing discrimination. Informal groups and collectives can apply — not only registered NGOs — which is unusual and is what makes the fund reachable for unincorporated community groups. A university is not an eligible applicant; a researcher partners with an eligible group. Contact: granty@femfund.pl.
