Student members of county Youth Advisory Councils allocate grants of up to $2,500 by consensus, with no staff vote, to youth-serving programs in four northeast Michigan counties.

Eligibility
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits, schools, or government agencies serving youth in Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, or Presque Isle counties. Grants are never made to individuals, and completed projects, routine operating costs, deficits, and repeat sustaining support are excluded. A university would need a program presence serving youth in those counties.
