SSCR Career Development Awards (Round 3)

NIHR School for Social Care Research (SSCR)

Training and development awards for social care researchers and practitioners to build the skills needed to reach the next step of their research careers. Run by the NIHR School for Social Care Research, a research and capacity-building partnership of English universities with its directorate at the University of York, focused on adult social care. One of the very few UK awards aimed squarely at practitioner-researchers rather than established academics.

Eligibility
Open to social care researchers and practitioners - practitioner applicants are explicitly in scope, not only university-based academics - working within the School's adult social care remit in England. Award-specific eligibility and host arrangements are set out in the round documentation; enquiries go to the SSCR directorate at York. This is an individual development award, not a grant a community organisation applies for as an institution.
