Rolling twice-yearly competition funding randomized evaluations of US social policy in housing, homelessness, labor, education, climate and energy, with separate tiers for pilots, full trials, proposal-development travel, and add-on funding to existing studies.

Eligibility
Applications are accepted from J-PAL affiliated professors and invited researchers, J-PAL postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students who have a J-PAL affiliate or invited researcher on their thesis committee (students capped at $50,000 per initiative). Maximum three proposals per applicant per 12 months to a single initiative.
