Smart Reentry Demonstration Program
Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice
Supports state, local and tribal governments to implement comprehensive and collaborative reentry strategies and to establish or expand an intervention that reduces recidivism. A final report evaluating the strategy or intervention is a required deliverable. Priority consideration goes to applicants committing to partner with a local evaluator for an independent evaluation that includes, to the maximum extent possible, random assignment.
