A two-year mentored training program in which advanced doctoral candidates and very recent PhDs co-review manuscripts for the journal Prevention Science alongside an experienced mentor. Builds peer-review and critical appraisal capacity across prevention topics from substance use to health equity. Recognition includes acknowledgment at the SPR annual conference and listing in the journal's editorial board.

Eligibility
Advanced doctoral candidates (approved for candidacy) or graduates within two years of the doctorate; applicants with eight or more prior reviews are considered overqualified. Applicants must secure written commitment from a mentor with at least eight years of post-doctoral prevention science research experience before applying.
