A two-year graduate fellowship for immigrants and the children of immigrants pursuing full-time degree-granting graduate or professional study in the United States. Open to all fields, so an MSW, DSW, or social welfare Ph.D. student qualifies, and fellows join a lifelong community with an annual fall conference.

Eligibility
The 'New American' gate: the applicant is an immigrant or the child of immigrants — naturalized citizen, green card holder, refugee or asylee, or someone who graduated from both a U.S. high school and a U.S. college; birth parents must have been born abroad as non-citizens and ineligible for U.S. citizenship at birth. Applicants must be 30 or younger as of the deadline, and must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. degree-granting graduate or professional programme in 2027-2028 without having started the third year of that programme by the deadline.
