Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (Parent K01 — Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
Three-to-five years of salary and research support with protected time and a mentor, aimed at reaching research independence. NICHD accepts K01 applications in only three areas: rehabilitation research, child abuse and neglect, and population research — the last two being direct social work research fields.
