Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials of Complementary and Integrative Interventions Delivered Remotely or via mHealth (R01 Clinical Trial Required) — PAR-25-268

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), NIH

An R01 for fully remote efficacy or effectiveness trials of complementary and integrative interventions, with a strict design constraint: there must be no in-person contact at all between research staff and participants. Everything — recruitment, consent, delivery, assessment, retention — happens at a distance or through mobile health tools. That constraint is the point, because it tests whether these interventions can reach people who cannot get to a clinic: rural residents, unpaid caregivers, people with disabilities or transport barriers, and people whose work hours make in-person research
