GSA Behavioral and Social Sciences Section Student Research Award

Gerontological Society of America

A paper competition recognizing original, unpublished empirical aging research by GSA Behavioral and Social Sciences Section student and early career members, with separate pre-dissertation and dissertation-level prizes. Winners receive a cash prize and are recognized at the BSS Section event during GSA's Annual Scientific Meeting. Open to social work doctoral students doing gerontological research.

Eligibility
Student or Early Career members of GSA's Behavioral and Social Sciences Section. Pre-dissertation level is for doctoral students who have not yet received the degree; the dissertation level is for those within 18 months post-doctorate at the submission deadline. Papers must be original unpublished empirical work in APA style, no more than 30 double-spaced pages, and must be presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
