Grant for Researchers
Supports academic and scholarly research on North American Christianity and cognate fields, explicitly including faith-based institutions and religion and social issues — a fit for social work researchers studying congregations, faith-based service providers, or religiously grounded community practice. Funds sabbatical and research leave, project costs and research support, or a combination. Applicants may apply individually or as teams of up to three researchers.

- Scholars based in the United States or Canada who have completed a terminal research degree (Ph.D., S.T.D., D.Min., or Th.D.). Typically based at universities, seminaries or theological schools, but independent researchers are also eligible. Doctoral students are explicitly not eligible.
