FY26 Autism Research Program (ARP) Career Development Award
Supports early-career independent investigators, or established investigators transitioning into autism research, to pursue high-impact ideas or early-phase proof-of-principle trials addressing critical needs of the autism community. Preliminary data are required.

- Independent investigators at or below Assistant Professor, or established investigators from another field at or above Assistant Professor transitioning into autism research. Must hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent at pre-application; must not be a graduate student, postdoctoral fellow or other mentored researcher; must not have held a CDMRP or other federal Career Development Award; and must not have received more than $250,000 in total direct costs for prior or concurrent autism research as PI.
