Must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for ESRC funding. Must not hold or have previously held an ESRC/UKRI research grant as project lead (postdoctoral fellowships excepted) and must not already hold a professorship. Applicants must argue their early career status rather than meet a fixed years-since-PhD cut-off.
