A consolidation fellowship for the immediately post-PhD stage, funding the fellow to develop publications, networks, research skills and professional skills from existing doctoral work. Explicitly not a route to fund new research. Well suited to social work doctoral graduates converting a thesis into publications and a fundable research programme.

- Eligibility
- The applicant must have completed a PhD in the UK at a UK research organisation and have less than 15 months of active postdoctoral experience at the full-time rate. The fellowship must be held at a Doctoral Training Partnership aligned to an accredited subject area, and social sciences must make up at least 50% of fellowship activities. Not open to community organisations.
